THE New Year will see a new way of watching planning meetings for West Lindsey residents – as they are to be broadcast live via the internet.

The move will be introduced from January 6, as part of a drive to reassure those living in the area that the planning process at West Lindsey District Council is open and transparent.

Chairman of the committee Cllr Chris Underwood-Frost said the new measure was just one the committee planned to introduce ahead of the publication of an Audit Commission report into governance within the committee, which is due early this year.
