Cricket: Knock-out cup action to savour
KNOCK-OUT cup action will dominate the Lincolnshire County Cricket League programme on Saturday.
The senior competition, the George Marshall Trophy, has reached the second-round stage, while there will also be quarter-finals played in the Bob Welton Cup.
In the George Marshall Trophy, Holton-le-Clay host Scunthorpe Town while Market Rasen welcome Alkborough.
Louth 2nds will travel to second division Keelby for their tie, while the only remaining division four team – Market Rasen 2nds – travel to Barton Town 2nds, who play in the third division.

Premier division Cherry Willingham at least have home advantage against title-chasing Scothern.
Meanwhile, in the Bob Welton Cup, Market Rasen 2nds take on Barton Town 2nds while Nettleham 2nds take on their counterparts from Broughton in the quarter finals of the popular competition.
The only league game on Saturday will be a division four encounter at Brigg Road, where Caistor 3rds host Immingham Blossom Way.
Sunday sees a couple of games in division three, Broughton 2nds meeting Outcasts 2nds, while Alford 2nds entertain Grimsby team Laportes.
