Cricket: Table neighbours set to square off
GRIMSBY Town CC will be fighting for every point when they take on table neighbours Lindum tomorrow.
The two sides currently sit in ninth and tenth place respectively in the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League table, meaning that a fierce encounter is expected at Augusta Street (11am).
Elsewhere in the league, fourth placed Bracebridge Heath trail Haxey by just one point, a gap they will be aiming to close when they take on seventh-placed Louth at London Road.
Third plays second as league newcomers Haxey entertain Woodhall Spa, just six points separating the two, while Woodhall are also six behind leaders Skegness.

The spotlight is likely to be on the bowlers on both sides, with Chinthaka Perera and Paul Bell dominating for Haxey while Ben O'Brien and Dan Milgate are well up the wickets table for Woodhall Spa.
Skegness are home to Sleaford who face the might of skipper Saeed Bariwala. He has 215 runs and 21 wickets to his name so far this season.
Oliver Pringle is also high in the wicket-takers table, while Peter Houghton and Adrian Gordon have both topped 200 runs.
However, Sleaford's better run of results after a bad start has moved them up to eighth and Oliver Burford's team will be up for the challenge again this wekend.
At the foot of the table, both sides face games against teams from the top half with bottom side Boston travelling to Bourne and Hartsholme entertaining Market Deeping who hope to have skipper David Gillett back in the side to help wipe out the memory of last weekend's poor score.
Fixtures: Tomorrow, 12.30pm start. Bourne v Boston; Hartsholme v Market Deeping; Haxey v Woodhall Spa; Louth v Bracebridge Heath; Skegness v Sleaford; Grimsby v Lindum (11am start)
