FIVE top-flight tussles catch the eye in tomorrow's Lincolnshire County Cricket League action, with teams at both ends of the table having plenty to play for despite the recent wet weather.

Andy Haith's Cleethorpes 2nds are in premier division action at Chichester Road where they host Cherry Willingham.

Caistor entertain Messingham at Brigg Road in an intriguing mid-table battle.

Andrew White's leaders Alford, who also have their eyes set on lifting the coveted championship pennant, entertain Alkborough, while bottom side Broughton, who have not found the going easy since regaining their top-flight status, are at home to fourth-placed Nettleham.

Division one's top match could be at Tetney Lane, where Holton-le-Clay will welcome title-chasing Scothern. At Rase Park, mid-table Market Rasen host Cleethorpes 3rds, still seeking their first league win of the season.

Division two leaders Keelby journey to second-in-the-table Messingham 2nds, whose Northfield Road ground has managed to produce a healthy number of runs this season, despite the adverse weather.

At Augusta Street, Grimsby Town 2nds take on Owmby.

Lincoln area pride will be at stake at Mulsanne Park, where Nettleham 2nds take on Washingborough, while the city's Ashby Avenue ground is the venue for Hartsholme 2nds against Caistor 2nds.

Division three leaders Hibaldstow, who are mounting a determined bid for promotion and still unbeaten, will enjoy home advantage against Grimsby visitors Laportes.

Second-placed Haxey 2nds visit Marsh Lane to take on Barton Town 2nds, while third in the table Cherry Willingham 2nds entertain Outcasts 2nds.

Cleethorpes 4ths have home advantage against Broughton 2nds, while South Kelsey 2nds host Alford 2nds at the former Nettleton Mines ground, Holton-le-Moor.

Elsewhere, Immingham Blossom Way host Market Rasen 2nds, and Holton-le-Clay 2nds visit Keelby 2nds.

On Sunday, Blossom Way host Holton-le-Clay 2nds.

In the other Saturday games in the basement section, Morton host Caistor 3rds at the Roses ground in Gainsborough, while Scothern 2nds entertain league leaders Old Lincolnians.
