Can Dan be the man for Caistor?
CAISTOR Town Cricket Club captain Liam Wood has recruited up-and-coming youngster Dan Freeman as his side look to book a place in the semi-finals of the Grimsby Town Knockout.
The 16-year-old, formerly of Horncastle and now training with the Nottinghamshire CCC Academy, is also on the Lincolnshire radar having made his debut last month.
Also in the Caistor side is former wicketkeeper Nick Dobbs, who will play as a specialist batsman alongside Sri Lankan star Sahan Wijerathne.
The Brigg Road side have never passed the first round of the Grimsby competition, and could find it tough going against 2011 finalists Fenner.
