CONFERENCE leaders Wrexham slipped up in the title race as they lost 2-1 away at Dartford on Saturday.

The Dragons went ahead through Danny Wright's 26th-minute strike but Jack Evans equalised with just 16 minutes remaining.

Elliot Bradbrook then popped up with a stoppage-time header to end the Darts' 13-match winless run.

Elsewhere, fellow title hopefuls Newport were held to a 1-1 at lowly Ebbsfleet United thanks to a last-gasp penalty save from Fleet keeper Preston Edwards.

Mansfield warmed up for tomorrow night's visit of Grimsby Town with a 4-1 hammering of Stockport County, while Forest Green's slim play-off hopes took a further blow with their 1-1 draw with struggling Barrow.

Macclesfield beat Telford 2-0 while Gateshead enjoyed a 3-0 win over Hyde.

Cambridge leapfrogged visitors Woking into 11th thanks to Tom Shaw's injury-time winner, while Lincoln City claimed a 1-0 win at Southport.

Meanwhile, Luton could only draw 1-1 at Hereford with Tamworth also being held at Alfreton by the same scoreline.

The game between Braintree and Nuneaton had to be postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
