Daryl Clare hails Louth Town's effort after victory over Albion Sports
BOSS Daryl Clare praised the fighting spirit of his Louth Town team after substitute Jonathan Walton fired the White Wolves to a much-needed victory.
Walton netted a brace as Louth triumphed 2-1 at Park Avenue against Albion Sports – their first victory in four Baris Northern Counties East League Division One matches.

The win against Albion on Saturday keeps Louth in the promotion hunt.
They are seventh in the standings, five points below Shirebook Town in second.

Former Grimsby Town striker Clare, the Wolves' manager, said: "We are playing better, with more togetherness, and it was a great start to the New Year.
"It was a really good result for us. We can move on from here.
"We are playing all the top teams in the next few weeks but this shows what we can do when we work at it.
"I am also thrilled with our goalkeeper, Ian MacTaggert, who has been playing with an injury for ten weeks.
"He is phenomenal and deserves applause."
Albion, now sixth in the standings, were unbeaten in 11 league games going into the match.
Walton came off the bench in the 37th minute as the first half drew to a goalless close.
After Elliott Broughton almost broke the deadlock for Louth in the second half, Walton did give the White Wolves the lead, however, in the 60th minute.
Albion were back on level terms two minutes later when Alex Cusack scored from a free-kick.
Man-of-the-match Walton then conjured the winner for Louth in the 73rd minute.
Albion piled forward in the closing stages but were unable to bag an equaliser.
And frustrations boiled over in the closing stages when goalscorer Cusack was sent off after an altercation with Louth's Callum Hyland, who was booked.
Before the match, a minute's silence was held in memory of popular Louth supporter Barry Brown, who died last month.
