Delight over new complementary therapy service set to launch next month
A WOMAN who is being treated for double breast cancer is delighted to hear a new complementary therapy service will launch next month.
Carolyn Cartwright, 46, was surprised at just how relaxed she felt after attending a one-off therapy day over the weekend.

Pampering: Carolyn Cartwright receives a mini-makeover by beautician Jayne Stevenson while Rosie Limb, Gill McNaughton, Joan Cousins and therapist June Whitworth, therapist look on.
The event, organised by the Wellness Tree Group – who promote the wellbeing of ladies surviving cancer – was opened to women who have beaten breast and gynaecological cancers.
It was the fifth event of its kind and due to previous success, committee members ventured into finding a more permanent location where they can hold the therapy days more often.
Urgently seeking two / four bedroom properties for our lengthy list of possible suitable tenants with the lowest fees in town and excellent turn around rate for sourcing and managing.

Carolyn, of Caistor, was diagnosed with double breast cancer in January.
She has since had a successful lumpectomy on both breasts and is now waiting to start chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
During the event on Saturday, at New Waltham Village Hall, Carolyn had a hands and feet massage, reiki treatment and a mini makeover.
She said: "I cannot believe how relaxed I felt.
"These treatments make you feel like a woman again and it is nice to have some 'me' time.
"I am glad that the Wellness Tree Group have decided to do more of these sessions in a more permanent location."
The group will now use space at The Business Hive, in Dudley Street, Grimsby, and on Tuesday, April 16, they will hold a launch day from 1pm to 4.30pm – female cancer survivors are invited to attend.
Veronica White, chairman of the Wellness Tree Group, said: "We are excited to have secured the venue and we will look to provide complementary therapy days at least twice a month.
"We currently run them twice a year so women will have more opportunity to relax and be pampered after going through so much.
"Members of the committee are trained to deliver various treatments so this will help in reducing costs.
"We just ask for a donation from the ladies who attend."
