Did you see man being attacked in Victoria Street?
POLICE are continuing to appeal for witnesses following an incident which happened in between the Barge and Casper’s Restaurant in Victoria Street, Grimsby.
As reported, between midnight and 12.15am on Wednesday, a 42-year-old man used the cash machine at the post office and walked in the direction of the Barge, where he stopped and had a brief conversation with a number of people who were outside.
The man then decided to get a taxi home and made his way to the taxi rank situated outside Casper’s.
As he walked towards the taxis he was approached by an unknown man who assaulted him and stole a small amount of cash.

The victim received a cut to his forehead and swelling and bruising to his cheek.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have information in connection with the incident to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 510 of October 4.
