POLICE are asking witnesses to come forward about a road traffic collision that caused minor injuries to both drivers.

The incident happened on Queen Mary Avenue in Cleethorpes on Monday, March 4 at 8.30am.

A grey Seat Ibiza and a blue Nissan van collided opposite the junior school during rush hour.

The van driver, a 54-year-old Cleethorpes man and the Seat driver, a 22-year-old Grimsby woman who was dropping her child off at school, both received treatment at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.
