Exhausted dog Tank reunited with owner after being found in Nottinghamshire
A PET owner didn't believe he would see his 14-year-old former gundog again after it was stolen in the back of his Ford Transit.
Describing Tank the golden Labrador as "worth a million pounds", Market Rasen resident Ron Brocklesby despaired after the theft.
But Mr Brocklesby, 58, has been reunited with ailing Tank – after being found wandering on a busy Nottinghamshire road three days later.
The drama unfolded on Monday, January 7 when the van and dog disappeared from Mr Brocklesby's front yard in Willingham Road.

Three days on, Kate McDonald, from the Misterton MOT and Service Centre, 25 miles away, found Tank staggering along the main A161 at nearby Walkeringham, near Gainsborough.
Now Tank is back home with the five other dogs, including his brother Butch.
The exhausted dog was fed and watered, and seen by a vet.
"It's unbelievable that he's safe and sound because Kate said the traffic was just driving round him," said Mr Brocklesby.
"I honestly didn't think I'd see him again and it nearly broke me – anything could have happened to him.
"I really wanted to take all the people who looked after him out for a meal to say thanks, but they wouldn't hear of it."
