Drink-driver crashed into back of parked car
MOTORIST Wayne French crashed into the back of another car after drinking at a party the previous night, Grimsby magistrates heard.
French, 40, of St Peter's Avenue, Cleethorpes, admitted drink- driving on February 9.

Nick Wyman, prosecuting, said another driver pulled up outside a row of shops in St Peter's Avenue just after midday, but French was "not paying attention" and crashed his car into the back of the other vehicle.
Damage was caused and the occupants of the other car suffered whiplash injuries.

A breath test revealed he had 87mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
French told the court he had been at a party the previous night and was still drinking until 1am. "It's no excuse," he said.
French was fined £350, banned from driving for 22 months and was ordered to pay £85 costs and a Government-imposed £15 victims' surcharge.
