“Some of the posters on here are unreal. -
caesartone - using that silly meaningless phrase of 'putting Grimsby on the map'.Refers to showing how great! Grimsby is yet refers to the need to paint and clean for the visit to therefore creating a false illusion in just the small area she will visit.
I'm just pleased she won't be walking over Newmarket Street footbridge or along the paved area from Corporation Rd at the rear of Sainsburys towards the Ross Tiger.
Hope she asks about why did that boat - the Esther sink!
stujaffray - another silly comment about the 'world stage'.
Other than the above I do hope the Princess enjoys her visit”

“That'll put us on the map...its exactly what this town needs. At last..we've been recongnised.. we should be proud to pay our taxes so our future queen can visit us and we can show the world how great..great grimsby is...is there anywhere where we can volunteer to paint or clean up anything.”
