“Jamie Ford was already in prison for kicking his mothers door in and stealing of her, he wont be getting out in a hurry he will have to finish the first sentance, he also spent all his life in and out of prison.”

“I wonder what Mr Whytes IDIOT Granny thinks of him now? All those years 'My little Johnny dosnt do things like that'. She just wouldnt listen when he was terrorising all the neighbours as a child and now he has got only a portion of what he deserves. Absolute SCUM bags. I just hope they both end up picking up the soap.”

“When he was released from prison last year after completing half his sentence, Kristian Whyte put himself forward to volunteer in a centre for vulnerable adults, and also young people.Without a CRB check he was allowed to "operate", manipulating these vulnerable members of society - who should be protected from scum such as him- befriending a young person with learning disabilities, and then robbed her family home- with the help of a minor. The sentence imposed on him will never be the length he truly deserves.”

“In my opinion 8 and 6 years (of which we can assume should read 4 and 3 years) for battering a 72 year old man IS a slap on the wrist. And no I am not from the flog em and hang em brigade but believe they should serve a longer sentence for such an evil crime, and with no playstation and haribos.”

“I wonder where all the outraged posters are now, who, when they caught these nasty pieces of work, predicted they would receive merely slaps on the wrist and nothing more? It would be nice to have them show up to say "nice one! Jail time". But I won't hold my breath.”

“Jimbo & Jon you're right. The headline is misleading. Unfortunately not everyone reads further than that.
It wouldn't be so bad, as Jimbo points out, if they weren't going to be back round here in 3 and 4 years. If it really was 8 & 6 years as the sentences say, fair enough. To be honest, Whyte's had so many previous chances, you might as well chuck away the key.”
