Editor's Opinion: Our versatility is key
OUR second good news business story of the week hits our pages today.
Centrica yesterday enjoyed the official opening if its new off-shore turbine maintenance facility, based at Grimsby Dock East.
This shows how green energy is truly providing new opportunities and progress in Grimsby – on the site of the former fish docks, the hub of the old fishing industry.
This news follows just a day after celebrations, on the other side of town, as Morrisons operations began on Europarc.
Urgently seeking two / four bedroom properties for our lengthy list of possible suitable tenants with the lowest fees in town and excellent turn around rate for sourcing and managing.

While this is a new plant and represents a new future for many, its presence here is based on the area's long-standing reputation as a food processing base – the past then is still providing great opportunities for our townspeople.
Our success as an area will depend upon our ability to make the most of any opportunities that come along – be them old or new.
We can show that we have the versatility to win on a number of different levels and that we can deliver the right level of assistance.
This will ensure that companies, new and existing, operate productively.

“Have the fish docks officially been renamed to "Grimsby Dock East" then?
