Ella Henderson and District 3 make it to next X Factor round
Both North East Lincolnshire's acts have survived the first round of this year's X Factor competition.
District 3 - which includes Cleethorpes' Micky Parsons, 18 - and 16-year-old Tetney girl Ella Henderson, did not have long to wait before learning they would not be leaving the competition.
District 3 were third to get the good news, quickly followed by Ella.
Carolynne Poole was sent home after the sing off against Rylan Clark. Louis Walsh could not reach a decision, taking the judges to deadlock. The final result was down to the public vote. Gary Barlow walked off in disgust as boos rang out across the studio.
