There is peace and quiet – and then there is the seclusion of Raywell Hall Country Lodge Park. The holiday lodge site is set in 35 acres of idyllic country park, in the grounds of an historic 19th-century manor house.

Now, for its end-of-season sale, developer Quintor is selling the hugely popular Prestige Canterbury show lodge for £159,500, reduced from £174,500.

This lodge has already proved to be a best-seller, with six versions of this model having been sold on the park to date.

The spacious, two-bedroom lodge – which is 1,144sq ft in size – has a range of features.

In the modern fitted kitchen, which has a range of wall and base units, there are high-specification integrated appliances including a double oven at eye level.

From the lounge, there is a pair of French doors which open out on to decking, which has views across the park's lake.

Both the family bathroom – which has a P-shaped bath with a shower over – and the en suite, which has a shower pod, have fully tiled walls and floors.

In the bedrooms, rich oak and striking natural colours have been used to create a relaxing atmosphere, with the master bedroom having a large walk-in wardrobe.

Bedroom two has a fully fitted wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a dresser unit with drawers.

The Prestige Canterbury is part of the second phase of lodges that have been placed in the park.

The lodges are all built to residential standard BS3632 and are sold on a 99-year licence. The park is open 365 days a year and occupants are required to provide details of their primary residence, which owners must have the choice to reside at.

Since launching a multi-million pound refurbishment of the hall and developing the lodge park, developers Quintor have seen the estate become one of the most exclusive residencies in the East Riding.

While ideally placed for the amenities of Willerby and Beverley, the park offers the tranquility of a lake-side setting.

Quintor sales executive Lesley Henderson said: "It is an escape from urban life.

"There are views for miles across the open pastures beyond and woodland walks."

Complementing the setting of the estate, is the hugely popular and award-winning Millers Tea Room And Farm Shop, located on the edge of the lodge park, where you will find delicious produce.

"There is a sense of urgency from people who are wanting to be on here," said Lesley.

"We are on to selling the second phase of the lodges now, and they are selling fast.

"Just think: you could be enjoying Christmas at the park."
