Experience a night to remember as BBC's Stargazing Live heads to Barton
CALLING all stargazers!
Waters' Edge and The Ropewalk in Barton will play host to this year's local BBC Stargazing Live event on Tuesday.

You will be star struck with this free event which will feature local experts, space themed science experiments, telescope viewings, a mobile planetarium and much more.

"The event aims to encourage everyone to make the most of the night sky, from the complete beginner to the enthusiastic amateur.
"There really is something for everyone."
Members of Scunthorpe Astronomy Group, North Lincolnshire Astronomy Group and the East Riding Astronomy Group will be on hand with hints and tips for getting started in stargazing and advice on navigating your way around the skies.
There will be talks from local expert Paul Money on the wonders of the night sky and Mal Nicholson, skipper of the Spider T will be talking about how sailors use the stars to navigate their journeys.
If you fancy getting hands-on why not make a rainbow constellation, a star pot, a shooting star or take part in the moon buggy activity?
The Science Department from Vale Academy will be taking people through a variety of experiments.
Go and see their sun being lit and walk the footpath of the solar system. You will also get chance to watch amazing "Science in space" videos at the Ropewalk, then make your own planet lantern.
BBC Radio Humberside's David Burns will be on site to hear what message or song you would send out into space for all to hear.
This exciting evening of activities runs from 6pm to 10pm – come rain or sparkle there will still be lots to do!
All activities are on a first come first served basis.
