Explain diesel prices

CAN anyone from Tesco explain to me why their diesel prices are now amongst the highest in the town? It wouldn’t be so bad if there wasn’t now a gap of 4p per litre difference between here and the Scunthorpe store. (historically it has always been 2p so why the extra rip off now ?)

I know previously they came out with some twaddle about this being classed as a rural area and also that they price to compete but as I stated at the top several other stations in the area are cheaper?
