Grimsby Borough joint manager Nigel Fanthorpe desperate to register away-day win
JOINT manager Nigel Fanthorpe is targeting three points on the road this weekend as Grimsby Borough travel to NCEL strugglers Askern Villa.
Borough, who were defeated 2-1 in their last division one game at AFC Emley, are six places above their second-bottom hosts.

However, a 4-0 win in the corresponding fixture at Bradley Community Stadium is enough to inspire Fanthorpe, who aims to attack once again.
He said: "We have played them a few times and we know what they are all about. It is a big pitch so hopefully we can get hold of the ball and play.

"Our game plan is to stretch them and create our chances. They are letting in a lot of goals so we'll be at them from the off.
"It will be a difficult game, though. We will have to make sure we are right, and everybody has to put in a session if we want to get the victory."
Sitting relatively safe in lower mid-table, Borough are realistically two or three good results away from securing their place in the league for next season.
With 27 points separating as many as 12 teams in division one, Fanthorpe is able to call upon a full strength side for the trip – and that could be crucial ahead of the season's final stretch.
He said: "It will be much the same as last week for us – we have no injuries and suspensions.
"We are looking to try and stabilise the position we are in. Everyone is beating everyone in this league, and that is something that suits us fine."
