Duchess of Cambridge visit: Final preparations for Kate Middleton's arrival underway at Grimsby's Havelock Academy
A RED carpet, homemade biscuits and a musical theatre performance will welcome the Duchess of Cambridge when she arrives at Grimsby's Havelock Academy tomorrow.
Pupils have been busy today rehearsing for the visit, which will see Kate Middleton officially open the school's new building.
Among those preparing for the Duchess' arrival was Wade Large, 12, from Grimsby, who was busy baking and decorating biscuits.
He said: "I'm pretty excited about tomorrow. She seems like a really nice lady and I hope she'll like our biscuits.

"My uncle is in the Army and he's met the Queen so I'm looking forward to meeting the future Queen."
Another pupil who hopes to impress Kate tomorrow is Phoebe Gough, 14, from Grimsby, who will be part of an ensemble performance of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Phoebe said: "I think Kate is a great role model for us all and I think she will love it here at Havelock and will be really impressed with our new building.
"I'm feeling anxious but really excited at the same time!"
The Duchess has expressed an interested in seeing students involved in photography courses and hockey, which she used to play.
AS-Level photography student Frankie Silvester, 17, from Grimsby, said: "I feel very excited about showing Kate my photographs but I'm nervous at the same time.
"Havelock is a fantastic school and it has changed so much over the last few years and I'm sure she'll be impressed."
