INSPIRATIONAL indie band The Finest Hour will headline an all acoustic gig at the Spider's Web on Friday.

The group, which recently had its new single Battle Scars played on BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Introducing show, will be joined by a number of talented local artists at the Carr Lane venue in Grimsby.

Four-piece Belgrano will play a range of tracks, experimenting with the ever-popular ukulele, guitar, bass and percussion, before Helen Bennett, pianist and one part of vocal duo Helian Keys takes to the stage.

Her performance will be followed by young talent Sam Simmons from The Accord, who aims to have the crowd more than foot-tapping to his catchy tunes.

Guitarist and singer songwriter Rob Bywater, 26, said: "The night at the Spider's Web is great value for money because you get to see five acts for just £3 on the door, and the standard is high. "
