HBP Systems Ltd has added a new range of accounting software products to the portfolio, having completed the necessary steps to become a Sage 50 partner.

This means that the Scunthorpe-headquartered firm is now an accredited supplier of the hugely successfully Sage 50 Accounts, HR and Payroll solutions from the largest supplier of business software in the UK.

More than six million customers use Sage products worldwide and with software packages which cater for businesses of virtually any size, from start-ups through to multi-national organisations.

Joanne Hill, managing director, said: "We're now in a better position than ever to help businesses. With Sage 200 and Sage CRM we have always been able to offer complete systems to small and medium sized businesses but Sage 50 gives us another option for businesses who may have more basic requirements."

HBP, located in Woodhouse Road, enjoys an established base of customers in the local area and has always been advocates of dealing locally.

By adding Sage 50 to the product range more companies now have the option to buy their business software from within the local area which is something Tony Pearson, technical director, was keen to talk about.

"We are in a great position to help businesses in the local area now," he said.

"We've not only got the accounts software packages but also provide IT support so we can look after the whole IT and software side of a business if required."

HBP Systems is now in its 21st year of business, having started in Scunthorpe in 1991.
