Firm saves the day after another company leaves Grimsby couple with leaking roof
"I CAN'T thank them enough."
The words of a Grimsby pensioner after Wilkins Roofing Contractors fixed problems with her roof after she was unable to contact the original contractor.

SAVING THE DAY: A pat on the back and a big thank you for roofers Jason Wilkins and Joe Dark, of Wilkins Roofing, from Sandra Broughton.
A spokesman for Your Local Roofing Company – which was paid £600 for the work – said the reason the repairs were not done was the firm had ceased trading.
He said: "The company ceased trading in mid to late 2012 following what appears may have been dishonest activities by a third party, which are presently being investigated.

"The company would like to extend its apologies to Mr and Mrs Broughton for the inconvenience they have suffered as a result of it ceasing trading."
Sandra and Terry Broughton, in their 80s, had a flat roof put in at their home on Lamour Road, Grimsby, last April.
In November, the roof began to leak and, despite repeated calls to Your Local Roofing Company, the original contractor never returned.
Mrs Broughton said: "I spoke to a woman on a number of occasions who kept saying she would pass my message on.
"Eventually, I didn't even get through to her. There was just a recorded message saying no one was free to take my call; I couldn't even leave a message.
"I called Trading Standards who told me to write to them, but I didn't think it would do any good."
In desperation, the couple contacted Jason Wilkins and his team, who carried out the repairs for free.
Trading Standards officers have confirmed an investigation has been launched.
Neil Clark, from Trading Standards, advised: "If you're looking for a guarantee on the work, look for an insurance backed policy so you're covered if the company goes out of business."
