A CLEETHORPES hair salon is going to great lengths to support our fantastic Win A Wedding competition.

Cutting Club in Grimsby Road is offering one lucky bride and her party the chance to relax and have their hair done by professional stylists, free of charge.

As reported, the competition organised by the Ashbourne Hotel in North Killingholme and Pronuptia in Grimsby is supported by the Grimsby Telegraph, and will give one couple a dream wedding worth more than £13,000.

The Cutting Club, which has been operating in the resort for more than 40 years, is offering a free hair arrangement for the bride, her mother and three bridesmaids.

Jane Dean, who owns the salon with Giovanni Ieronimo, said: "The hairstyles will be tailored to the customers' needs. They will be unique and can be anything from an elaborate up-do to softer, curlier styles.

"They may bring accessories with them – some bring fresh flowers and others bring hair combs with diamantes on.

"The bride and her party can bring in photographs and, if they want anything doing beforehand, they can book in extensions or a cut and colour for an added price."

She said the package the Cutting Club is offering is worth almost £300, which includes a free consultation session to discuss what suits the customer.

"They are advised to book an appointment two or three months before the wedding," Jane continued.

"The hairdo for the bride is very important. They want to look soft, feminine and glamorous. It also needs to be a timeless do to look back on in years to come. It is the biggest day of a woman's life and I think the competition is great and winning the prize will be a dream come true for one couple.

"The Cutting Club's motto is 'Be A Part Of It' and that's exactly what we are doing, we are part of the community and want to be part of Win A Wedding."
