Futsal: Mortlock ready to face Danes
GRIMSBY-born Futsal star Ben Mortlock is full of confidence ahead of this weekend's international double header between England and Denmark.
The Three Lions host the Scandinavian side on Friday evening (7.30pm start) and Saturday afternoon (3pm start) at the Sporthouse Centre in Barking.
Mortlock, who played in the 3-1 and 4-1 victories against Switzerland last month, has again been selected as part of the England squad and is relishing the challenge.
He said: "Denmark are a little bit unknown. They haven't been running a team for very long but they do have a strong domestic league with lots of Brazilian players.

"Almost half of the national team play for the top team in Denmark, so they should know each other. They will be good, but we have to go into the game with confidence.
"I will be trying to keep active in the gym this week before meeting up with the squad. I am happy with my own form, and have played quite consistently lately.
"We won our last two matches and will be hopeful of winning again. The side is full of confidence, but we still won't underestimate what Denmark can do."
Mortlock, who works as a sports therapist for Barnet FC, currently has 31 international caps and is on course to add to that total this weekend, despite not starting the second match against Switzerland.
The defender plays his club Futsal for reigning National Southern Champions, Helvecia FC, who retained their title earlier this month.
