GRIMSBY TOWN: Mariners' title rivals dealt injury blow
WREXHAM look to have lost regular number one Joslain Mayebi for the rest of the season after the stopper ruptured his Achilles tendon.
The Cameroon international suffered the injury early in the second half of the Dragons' 2-2 draw with Southport last night.
It is the same inury suffered by Mariners star Liam Hearn and looks set to rule the keeper out for eight months.
Last night, boss Andy Morrell said the club will look to sign a replacement before tomorrow night's transfer deadline.

“Totally agree Farmerdoc, this could work in Wrexhams favour as their replacement could be better. I still believe that our lads will do us proud, twice this season. Wouldn't it be great if we won league, Lincoln won play-offs, Scunthorpe got relegated. would be like the good old days with our full blooded local derbies. UTM.”

“Dezza - your comment "LOL" is in poor taste, if it's found they've lost their keeper for eight months thats very unfortunate. I'm a town fan though & through but i wouldn't wish this on either the individual or the club concerned. Injuries are part & partial of the game, but lets concentrate on our squad..”
