Gary says Union J "have the edge" on District 3 in the X Factor
MICKY and the District 3 boys have been forced to defend themselves against Gary Barlow's comments that they are not as good as fellow contestants Union J.
The boys received praise from the rest of the judges with their rendition of Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven, as X Factor became all about celebrating the Best Of British.
Tulisa led the praise for their vocal harmonies, telling the trio it was her favourite performance they had given in the competition so far. Nicole was holding back the tears as she echoed her praise.
However, Gary Barlow said while it had been a good performance, he believed their rivals Union J "had the edge" over the boys and that they were "lacking something" - although he could not say what.
