A SEAT-gripping ghost story will be the next production by Class Act Theatre Company.

Beyond is set in a large country house during the 1940s and is sure to get you peeping through your fingers as investigators try and find the cause of strange happenings at a wartime orphanage.

But be warned, the play contains moments of very high tension and uses special effects to enhance its gripping storyline.

Writer and director David Wrightam has been putting the actors through their paces and he says there have been moments when even they have shuddered.

If you like plays such as The Woman In Black, then you will love Beyond – it is full of surprises and has an ending that is jaw-dropping.

This production is just one of a number of new plays Class Act is bringing to the stage this year.

In April, the Class Act Adult section will be presenting Hope And Glory, and in July the Class Act Junior section will present Hard Life – A Victorian Tale.

In September, Ship Of Dreams – The Titanic will be brought to the stage and finally, another side-splitting comedy in October from the adults with Fanny Pulls It Off.

Class Act has just moved into its new scenery and set-building facility, which will make a huge difference to the creative team that produces some wonderful sets.
