Sunday League: Goals galore as cold snap hits schedule
CROWS NEST manager Terry Hanley had mixed thoughts after his side's 6-4 victory over Police in Division Two.
Luke Fanthorpe starred with a brace, while goals from Tom Heaton, Luke Moore, David Miller and Marco Magalhaes completed the scoring.

Hanley said: "We went 6-1 up and then stopped playing – the Police team came back strongly. It was a warning to us that games last 90 minutes and not 70.

With little at stake in Division Three, Millfields (Mark Hay 2, Matt Lovesey, Kieran Palmer, Leeroy Metcalfe, Craig Norman) won 6-1 against Buddies II FC (Luke Lapsley).
Deportivo Empire (Stephen Robinson 2, Lee Potter) won 3-1 away to The Cricketers.
In Division Four, Crows Nest 2nds beat Clee Community ESL 2-0 in their promotion battle with goals from Louie Schofield and Marc Musgrove.
Division Five leaders East Marsh Empire (Mark Hydes, Anthony Maggs, Garry Spurr, Jodi Spurell) won 4-1 against Redstar Old Boys. RER Haulage (Ben Cole, Stuart Geddes, Simon Peck) won 3-1 away to AFC Waltham.
Goals from David Young, Jordan Chaplin and Scott Ironmonger saw Buddies II Athletic through to a 3-1 victory against West Marsh Old Boys (Nathan Green) in Division Six.
And in Division Seven, eight goals from Gavin Legg helped Laceby Arms to an 11-1 win against Clee Community ESL 2nds – Tom Benbrick, David Hutson and Thomas Leonard also netted.
Meanwhile, LLS Allstars (Adam Ellwood 2, Gavin Anderson 2, Kieron Atkinson 2, Ashley Hurren, Lewis Cox, Iain Newton, Nathan Paul) won 10-1 away to IFK Knottkoping.
