Golf: Harris conquers on home course
SARAH Harris celebrated victory on home turf at Elsham Golf Club's Ladies Open Day.
After rainy weather, the course held up well as Harris carded 37 Stableford points, off 7/8 handicap, to win the silver division.

FIRST PLACE: Luke Boden won A junior Stableford at Elsham Golf Club.
Woodhall Spa's Jane Crooks finished second, on 36 points.
Ashby Decoy's Jane Iverson won the bronze division, scoring 35 points.

Elsham's Jacqui Boswell finished one point adrift in second after beating Lincoln's Jo Burndreo on countback.
Jane Crooks hit form alongside Elsham's Judith Ainsworth in the afternoon nine-hole foursome competition.
The pair scored 20 points to win the contest, which took place on the front nine.
Lincoln duo June Willows and Jo Burndreo finished second, on 19.
Elsham's Shirley Farley, alongside Laceby Manor's Chris Hutchinson, took third spot on 18 – after a countback.
On the back nine, Elsham's Patsy Davies and Carol Croft scored 21 points to triumph.
They finished three clear of runners-up Belinda Briggs and Pat Fox, from Retford.
Meanwhile, Twenty-one teams of Elsham members played a mixed Texas Scramble to celebrate the Jubilee. The winners were Richard Belfield, Darren Fuller, Neil Roberts and Graham Smith, on net 57.
Danny and Elizabeth Carter and Megan and Robert Taylor finished third with net 58.5.
On the junior scene, Luke Boden triumphed in a Stableford competition, scoring 36 points.
Connor Hobbins captained Elsham's younger juniors in a match at Forest Pines. The team lost 2-1.
