Golfers chip in to raise £400 for Mayor's charities and other worthy causes
RAISING money for charity is just par of the course for these golfing fundraisers.
They all got together to 'chip' in for charity at Immingham Golf Club for the Mayor's Charity Golf day.

Organiser Dave Jackson said: "This is the second of the Mayor's Charity golf matches.
"This year we have raised a total of £400 for the Mayor's charities – Pilgrim Junior Swimming and the Macmillan Nurses.
"We have had 14 teams and 56 players taking part.
"People came from across the country to be here and take part in the event, with teams formed by companies like ABP; and by individuals as well.
"We would also like to offer our thanks to Lindsey Oil Refinery for sponsoring the event."
The winners were the Jackson Four, formed by local company Nicol, who got 101 points. The wining individual was Craig Wood with 47 points.
The team which came second was called Graypen, named after the shipping agents in Immingham, and consisting of Nick Cutsforth, 49, Trev Broughton, 56, Martin Mooney, 56, and Spenny Wressel, 49. They earned 96 points.
Nick said: "The standard of the course was exceptional.
"It's a great chance to play a cracking game of golf and support some worthwhile causes at the same time."

“Strange really isn't it. A story about the Mayor of Immingham would usually generate a response from pensioner. He has a problem though because his golf club benefited from the day. Oh what a tangled web we weave”
