NIGEL Fanthorpe is urging his Grimsby Borough side to go out with "all guns blazing" when they take on Bottesford Town tomorrow.

The Borough boss wants a high-octane performance from his men to cure their midweek cup hangover.

Despite battling back from 2-0 down against big local rivals Cleethorpes Town in the Lincolnshire Trophy, the Owls grabbed a late winner to edge the match 3-2.

Borough now have a good chance to bounce back and climb further up the Baris Northern Counties East Division One table.

Fanthorpe said: "It is a must-win game and we need to go out with all guns blazing.

"If we produce the sort of form we did on Tuesday night we shouldn't have a problem.

"We have been playing reasonably well, it is just a few defensive mistakes that have cost us.

"We have to iron them out."

Borough will be without the suspended Luke Fanthorpe for the clash, but welcome back central defenders Shaun Baker and Dave Unsworth.

Fanthorpe admitted he was disappointed to lose midfielder Lewis Buckthorp to Cleethorpes Town.

He added: "Although it was very disappointing, it gives some other players a chance. We have a decent squad and some good young lads coming through."

Borough go into tomorrow's match in ninth spot, five points ahead of their opponents.

"However, Bottesford have five games in hand.
