Former Grimsby Funhouse is being cleared out
A SKIP outside St Martin's Church on the Nunsthorpe Estate sparked calls to the newsroom that the Funhouse was being cleared out.
We can confirm that a mezzanine floor, which the former funhouse owned, was been dismantled and taken away for storage.
Nunsthorpe Together a community-led group, are vacating St Martin's Church Hall, following a row between the group and the church.

“I have to go someway with agreeing with 4everblue. Take St.Aidans, the pathways to where trecharous. You look at the size of the vicarage, the motors they drive. They can't find a few quid for a sack of sand. I call that seriously tight.”

“Have to say "4everblue" I disagree with you. This group should have paid their rent like every other community group. Credit to the church for standing up to them. There is plenty of other groups on the estate that these kids can go to? You will also find that these other groups have much higher moral standards and safeguarding procedures to protect the kids that goes. Unlike the so called "Funhouse"...”

“I always thought the Church was the hub of any community and there to help fuse
communities together. Not so now, they are out for all they can get (moneywise)
with no thought for children of families. No wonder people are turning away from
this hypocritical entity.”

“One skip, oh come on now. I suppose it could be a 12-15 ton job. Then again the locals will empty it quicker than its being filled.”
