Grimsby HMV closure a 'disappointment', say Freshney Place bosses
FRESHNEY Place shopping centre bosses have expressed disappointment at news the centre’s HMV store is to close.
The Grimsby store is expected to shut its doors within the next four to six months – alongside 37 additional stores across the country – according to joint administrators Deloitte.

A further 37 HMV stores around the country have been listed for closure.
Amanda Austin, Freshney Place centre director, said: “It is disappointing to hear that HMV in Grimsby has been listed as one of the 37 stores set to close under the company’s administration process.
“It is a very difficult time for all staff affected and our thoughts are with those involved.

“So sad!
Freshney Place won't have many shops left soon! The rent for stores is so expensive - which is no surprise why they've not been taken up.”
