Grimsby Telegraph holiday show breaks records
DESPITE the snow, nearly 1,000 people attended the Grimsby Telegraph Holiday And Travel Show looking for some much needed sunshine.
The ten travel agencies at the Beachcomber show described it as their "busiest year yet" with numerous customers booking their summer breaks.

Top marks: The Rutland Hotel gets the thumbs-up from New Waltham visitors Pete and Ursula Bird, who have visited the hotel before.
Organiser and business development manager at the Grimsby Telegraph Nicola Kemplay said: "It's a great time of year to book holidays because everyone has the winter blues feeling after enjoying Christmas.
"The whole point of the show is to give local people the choice of a selection of independent travel companies under one roof such as Radley Holidays, Rutland Hotel, the Beachcomber and Expert Coaches."

Hough's of Lincolnshire, based in Wilton Road, Humberston, said it has been "manic" with bookings.
Owner Rosina Hough, said: "It has been absolutely mad with customers booking and we are selling out quick.
"I think it's because the festive season is over and people need a break.
"We offer coach trips around the UK and Isle of Man. This is our best year yet for bookings and it is only the new year – so it's going great!"
Another travel company feeling the holiday rush was Radley Coach Travel, of Brigg and Barton.
Owner Kevin Radley said: "We have been really busy at the event and I think it's because people are planning ahead and are looking forward to a break after winter.
"Everything is selling well – particularly Norway and Jersey."
