Grimsby Town at Braintree: Clash may beat cold snap, says Iron boss Alan Devonshire
BRAINTREE boss Alan Devonshire is hopeful that tomorrow night’s clash with the Mariners will beat the cold snap.
That’s provided the Amlin Stadium doesn’t see too much of the scheduled snow in the next 24 hours.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Devonshire, pictured, said: “We’re hoping that the game will be on. We’re going down to have a look at it.
“They’re talking about there being more snow coming here tomorrow and Saturday, but as long as we don’t get too much more, I think we’ll be all right.”

He added: “We want to get all games on but it will be a big game, especially in front of the cameras and we want to get it played. But we’ll have to see how the weather goes – hopefully it will be all right.”
