“At the end of the day, when you look at where we are this year compared to last,YES we have moved forward slightly points wise, and have some maturing young talent in the wings, but in the cold light of day, parts of this sqaud simply are not good enough!! but as the managers say its a work in progress,we need to add better players than the ones we let go.
I still feel midfield is our achillies heel,oh for a cockerill and cunnington,we would then cut the mustard, these two were the real deal, and never got overan in the middle of the park like the current team have done this year on many occasions.”

“I was hoping Peter Winn would have been given a contract but its quite clear S&H have someone else in mind for the position. Also glad to hear Thanoj...Artus...McKeown got 2yr contracts. Now lets hear we have quality players also on their way to sign for Grimsby Town next season.Utmm!!”

“I am concerned that having let Coulson go through poor contract negotiation that we have lost Winn as well, hope Shouty and Shorty have a plan for the wings because Hearn was sorely missed up front in the middle on Saturday as he covered the left wing. look forward to seeing the squad form over the next few weeks UTM”

“I'm shocked to learn that we haven't signed Peter Winn - I thought that he was worth a deal even on non contract terms, especially as his is a local lad.
I felt that he had a presence both when attacking and defending??”

“Pleasing news ...i rate Thanoj.
Not suprised to see Church & Mason leave.I don't think Mason is well suited for BSP football & i don't think Church has impressed enough.”
