Grimsby Town: Write us off at your peril says Bath manager Britton
BATH City manager Adie Britton is warning Grimsby Town not to write off his team's FA Trophy hopes tomorrow despite a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of the Mariners a fortnight ago.
Town exorcised their previous Bath demands that day by hitting the Romans for six.

But Britton, whose side came from two down to draw with the Mariners in the league fixture at Twerton Park in November, believes the Cleethorpes calamity was a freak result and that his team will provide a sterner test this weekend.
Britton said: "We are desperate to do well in this game.
"Obviously people will write us off – and with good reason – because of what happened two weeks ago, but we believe in our ability and feel that it was a bit of a false result.
"Obviously we will need to do a lot better than we did up there.
"But we've done it plenty of times before when people haven't given us a chance, so why not this time?"
Bath famously knocked Town out of the FA Cup in 2009 and would like nothing more than another upset tomorrow.
Britton is determined to do well in the FA Trophy and forget their league troubles that sees them ten points from safety.
He went on: "One of our objectives at the start of the season was to reach the last eight of the FA Trophy and if we win on Saturday we will have achieved that.
"If we do that and get a good draw on Monday then we will be close to a semi-final.
"That chance doesn't come around all that often for a non-league club and it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us.
"Irrespective of everything else that has happened this season, it is definitely possible."
Britton is certainly confident but Bath's task isn't helped by injuries and suspensions.
Gethin Jones sits out the second of a three-match ban for a two-footed tackle in the recent meeting with Alfreton while top scorer Sean Canham is also banned after throwing the ball at the referee following Jones' dismissal.
Lewis Hogg makes it a trio suspended after reaching ten cautions for the campaign.
With Mark Preece cup-tied and Scott Murray ruled out with a hamstring problem, it limits Britton's options.
He has drafted in Exeter City's diminutive striker Chris Shephard, though, on loan and the 20-year-old could debut in a front three.
Britton added: "I've watched Chirs Shephard for a number of years as he has developed through Exeter's youth system, and seen his improvement.
"He's graduated on to make the first team and he's played a good number of games this season.
"I know from my time in Bath how the fans like exciting pacey footballers who create chances, and I'm sure that Chris won't let them down.
"Chris coming in will help us in attack and he has a bit of quality about him."
