DEFENDER Nathan Pond has revealed that a Grimsby Town return would be top of his wish-list if he is unable to break into the Fleetwood Town line-up.

As reported, the centre-half will play the final game of his loan spell with the Mariners against Hereford United on Saturday before returning to the north west.

But, speaking to the Grimsby Telegraph this morning, the 27-year-old says he would welcome a return to Cleethorpes if he is unable to nail down a starting spot with the Cod Army.
