ANTHONY Elding could be set for a permanent switch to Preston North End.
The 30-year-old Mariners forward is on the verge of returning to Deepdale for a further month after his initial loan spell at the League One club came to an end this month.

He said: “Preston have said that they want to take him for another month with a view to possibly converting that into a permanent deal.
