Grimsby Town gear up for season ticket launch
SEASON tickets for Grimsby Town's 2012/13 campaign go on sale at Blundell Park tomorrow, with the club hoping to better last year's opening-day figures.
Steve Wraith, the club's accounts manager, felt Mariners fans showed what great supporters they are when £8,000 was taken on the first day last summer.
He said Town are targeting 2,000 season ticket sales by the deadline for early-bird discounts – July 14.
As reported, season ticket prices have been frozen for a fourth consecutive season, with fresh discounts being introduced for younger fans.

Mr Wraith hopes last year's overall sale, of just under 1,800 season tickets, can be topped.
He said: "We made £8,000 on the first day last year. It would be fantastic to beat that.
"Last year, supporters showed how much the club means to them. We always have some fans waiting at the club shop at 9am – it's great to see such passion.
"It didn't end the way we hoped it would but we had a good season with lots of goals.
"We still have the nucleus of a strong team that the managers will be building on.
"We are all looking forward to a fantastic season."
