Grimsby Town's Anthony Elding attracts interest from overseas clubs
ANTHONY Elding has been the subject of interest from overseas clubs – according to Grimsby Town joint boss Paul Hurst.
The striker hasn’t played for the Mariners since early November.
“I think there’s a bit of interest in Anthony, including from a few clubs abroad,” said Hurst.
“But until such time as we hear that’s for definite then there’s nothing more to add.

“Strange cooment from "by youngers" i thought Elding always gave 100%, can we really turn against a guy when he is just trying to make a living.”

“It must be very fustrating for the lad, doesn't seem to want to play for us has bags of tallent but keeps it well away from his boots. Never understood people who dont want to give their all for the team paying the wages. You would think he would try his best for the club so he could earn a place away from cleethorpes in the summer. Its a funny old game....thought about a career change...”
