Grimsby Town's Aswad Thomas receives England C call-up
GRIMSBY Town defender Aswad Thomas has been called up to the England ‘C’ squad again.
The 23-year-old will be in the squad to face Turkey at Dartford on Tuesday, February 5 in the semi-final of the International Challenge Trophy.
Should he play, it will be the full-back’s second appearance for the national side after a friendly against Andi Thanoj’s Albania in October had to be cancelled.
Thomas, pictured, is the Mariners’ only representative in Paul Fairclough’s squad.
