ROB Scott says that Grimsby Town are not finished with their business in the transfer market this summer.

So far, the Mariners have drafted in strikers Andy Cook and Greg Pearson, midfielders Derek Niven and Joe Colbeck, and defenders Sam Hatton and Aswad Thomas.

Each of the new recruits played a part in Tuesday's 2-0 Lincolnshire Senior Cup semi-final victory over Scunthorpe United, with Cook grabbing the second goal.

Goalkeeper Greg Fleming has since been signed on a one-year deal.

Scott said: "There's another bit of business still to be done, with possibly another couple to come in.

"That's not in detriment to the players that we've already got, but we do need and want a bigger squad. We're running at 17 at the minute, so we need to bring a couple more in to get to where we want to be."
