He had about 3 or 4 good games in a row at the start of our run last year and that is it, how he was idolised and given this hero status is beyond me. I am a season ticket main stander and i can quite assure you our feelings regarding Elding are the same as most others, not up to the job, runs around a lot but does not look like scoring, He won't be missed.
I reckon Cook, Southwell and Hannah can do the business, not sure about Greg Pearson yet though.
Would love to see Marshall and Nielson as the two wingers on Saturday with Hannah and Cook in the middle, a real force to be reckoned with.

“Don't particularly blame the lad for being interested in a move league 1 at this stage of his career and I did like the look of his partnership with Hearn last season, albeit Hearn rightly got the majority of the credit.

However agree with others that Cook and Hannah look better all round players for us. I would put him ahead of Pearson based on what i've seen so far but if he wants out it is best he leaves.

Appreciate his efforts though, and anyone who can aggravate the six fingered carrot crunchers from down the road like he did last xmas is all right in my book.”

His touch is poor, he is weak and rubbish in the air for a guy of his size and he got his name off the back of hearns scraps last year. Hopefully this will pave way for Hannah as stated by others, bear in mind we have Pearson coming back from injury too, and we can play a 3 with Neilson and the lad from Bury who was MOM at Hyde in my opinion (Marshall), there are options.
