Four more Grimsby Town supporters given banning orders for post-match violence

FOUR more Grimsby Town fans have received football banning orders for their part in the violence following the match against Burton Albion that saw the Mariners relegated from the football league.

They appeared before Burton Magistrates yesterday and footage of their actions was shown in court.

    “Maybe they should be forced to mow the pitches of every football team in the local sunday league in the off season as punishment,looks like some of them need the exercise,wouldnt want to associate with any of them,bringing shame and poor image to the town”

    “When are those people going to grow up. They are vermin scum who have ov er the years brought the name of our town into disrepute.
    The vast majority of us fans who went to Burton were upset and broken hearted yet did not feel the need to attack stewards police or Burton supporters.
    At the final whistle we left the ground drove home went out and drowned our sorrows we still did not feel the nned to attack anyone.
    The same people convicted of the football related offences are the same people who cause public disorder in the Town.

    “bans ha ha.. bet they will try to get in to some matches somewhere.. they should be made to report to the police st 3 hours before and stay 3 hours after any grimsby game.. just thugs not football supporters”
