“Maybe they should be forced to mow the pitches of every football team in the local sunday league in the off season as punishment, looks like some of them need the exercise, wouldnt want to associate with any of them, bringing shame and poor image to the town”

“When are those people going to grow up. They are vermin scum who have ov er the years brought the name of our town into disrepute.
The vast majority of us fans who went to Burton were upset and broken hearted yet did not feel the need to attack stewards police or Burton supporters.
At the final whistle we left the ground drove home went out and drowned our sorrows we still did not feel the nned to attack anyone.
The same people convicted of the football related offences are the same people who cause public disorder in the Town.
All hard men in a mob all cowards alone on a dark night when old bill feels a collar”

“Not sure what you are trying to say, Chris, whether you are putting your hands up, saying sorry for being stupid, done the crime and will do the punishment, or whether you are saying you should not have been there in the first place. As someone who witnessed the disgraceful behaviour of these so-called fans, and who reduced my lad to tears he was so frightened, I praise the police for putting any of them in court. You were sat next to criminals because you are a criminal, whether you like it or not, you have been charged under the law and appeared in a court of law. But if it has been a wake-up call and it has led you to understand the consequences of such behaviour then I would have more respect for you.”
