Hooper out-pointed former Area title holder Amir Unsworth, of Sleaford, by 99 to 91 after ten three-minute rounds.
By winning the English title eliminator against his stable-mate, a match that manager Carl Greaves labelled as '50-50', the Grimsby man extended his record to 13 wins from as many fights.
