Grimsby's HMV store not on closure list
GRIMSBY'S HMV store is not among those the chain's joint administrators have identified for closure, the Grimsby Telegraph can today reveal.
Across the country, 66 of the chain's 220 UK stores will be closed over the next two months, affecting 930 staff.

Grimsby's HMV store is not on the list earmarked for closure.
Joint Administrator Nick Edwards said: "As part of our ongoing review of HMV's financial position, we have now completed a review of the store portfolio and have identified 66 loss making stores for closure.
"This step has been taken in order to enhance the prospects of securing the business' future as a going concern.

I've always found the staff to be helpful (well, as helpful as they can be with the constraints placed upon them - such as an inability to order stock in for you) and knowledgeable.”
