Grimsby vs Alfreton Town: Cook to get Mariners nod
Grimsby striker Andy Cook is again likely to lead the attack against Alfreton.
Cook proved his fitness after a recent head injury with a goal in the midweek win against Luton. However, he will face competition from new signing Lenell John-Lewis, who joined on an 18-month deal from Bury on transfer deadline day.
Fellow striker Liam Hearn is making good progress with his long-term Achilles problem and if he is pencilled in for a return to first-team action in three to four weeks.
Midfielder Derek Niven was rested for the midweek FA Trophy game but could come back into the starting XI he will compete with Andi Thanoj for a place in the middle of the park.

Recent loan signings Scott Boden and Steven Hewitt both go straight into the Alfreton squad.
Striker Boden joined the Reds on a three-month loan deal from Chesterfield earlier this week, while Hewitt has signed from Burnley until the end of the season.
Defender Ross Killock is also likely to return to the squad after overcoming a recent calf injury.
However, winger Louie Soares will not feature due to the terms of the loan agreement between the two clubs.
Young striker Ashley Worsfold advanced his claims for a starting place after netting a hat-trick in a Derbyshire cup game in midweek.
Midfielder Dan Bradley is still carrying a slight knock and could again have to be content with a place on the bench.
